The Kansas City Wizards
will host the meet-and-greet event for players, staff, season ticket
holders and other fans Thursday, March 20 at Dave & Buster’s at The
Legends in KCK. The event will start at 5:30 p.m. for season ticket
holders and open to the general public at 6:30 p.m.
Fans will be able to compete against and with players for prizes at various arcade games. Televisions will also be tuned to the NCAA tournament, and fans will have the opportunity to challenge Wizards midfielder Kerry Zavagnin in a tournament bracket challenge. Those who beat Zavagnin’s bracket will be entered into a drawing for a jersey autographed by Zavagnin himself.
I plan on attending with my family from 5:30 to probably around 7pm.

Confused and frustrated by the latest Microsoft products Windows Vista and Office 2007? Want to preview their features before you make that expensive decision to upgrade? If you answered yes to either question, you will want to attend the next installment of the Knowledge is Power Lecture Series.
Hosted by the Friends University Alumni Association and the Topeka Alumni Advisory Board, attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about what changes have occurred to these products since they were last released, pick up helpful hints and tips for maneuvering around both systems, and have hands-on access to see first-hand how both systems work.
The guest speaker for this event is Travis Reed, M’02. Reed is currently an adjunct instructor for Friends University and serves as an information systems specialist with the United States Postal Service.
Attendees have the option of attending two dates for this event and a complimentary meal will be served to all who attend.
